The consultant will play a key role in building modern data solutions that drive transformation and innovation. This consultant will focus on data ingestion, transformation, and analytics—delivering scalable, high-performance solutions that position the firm for the future.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing end-to-end data pipelines and analytics platforms. While expertise in Microsoft Fabric is an advantage, the consultant should be capable of assessing and articulating opportunities beyond the Microsoft stack to identify the best technologies for the firm's evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data ingestion, transformation, and analytics solutions that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify business opportunities and technical strategies that align with long-term data goals.
- Provide insights into MS Fabric capabilities while also evaluating other cloud and open-source data solutions for the best fit.
- Build scalable, high-performance data platforms, ETL pipelines, and analytics workflows.
- Drive best practices for data governance, security, and compliance in a global enterprise environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business leaders, data scientists, and IT teams to develop holistic solutions.
- Optimize data architecture, storage, and processing frameworks for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, analytics, or cloud-based data solutions.
- Strong expertise in data ingestion, transformation, and analytics pipeline development.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and the ability to evaluate its role in a modern data ecosystem.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid data solutions.
- Hands-on knowledge of ETL tools, data lakes, data warehouses, and modern analytics frameworks.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark, or other data engineering languages.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and articulate benefits to stakeholders.
