Job Description & Summary
At PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.
In quantitative tax solutions and technologies at PwC, you will focus on leveraging data analytics and technology to develop innovative tax solutions. In this field, you will use quantitative methods to optimise tax processes and enhance decision-making for clients.
- Provide L2 support for e-invoicingsolutions, addressing incidents and service requests.
- Analyse and resolve technical issues by providing workarounds.
- Escalate complex problems to higher-level support teams or development teams as needed.
- Monitor system performance and availability using Azure monitoring tools.
- Work closely with development teams to convey technical requirements and system improvements.
- Document solutions and troubleshooting steps to maintain knowledge base and best practices.
- Conduct installations for on-premises environments and troubleshoot any issues that arise related to on-premises environments.
- Optional: Assist in the development of scripts and small enhancements in C# to improve system functionality.
- Optional: Assist in updating of mapping implementation through AltovaMapForce should changes arise.
- Optional: Perform routine maintenance and updates on e-invoicing systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with standards.
- Optional: Work on automating routine tasks using containerization and DevOps practices.
- Optional: Provide guidance and training to end-users and junior support staff on e-invoicing system functionalities.

Requirements
- Familiar with the Azure portal and services, log monitoring tools and application insights.
- Experience with containerization technologies and environments, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries for data retrieval.
- Ability to perform database analysis, troubleshoot issues, and provide insights based on data.
- Familiar in using the Linux command line to manage and operate systems across different versions like Ubuntu and Red Hat, including handling files and installing software.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Analytical thinking to identify root causes of issues and propose effective workarounds.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical issues and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers.
- Competency in documenting issues, processes, and resolutions to contribute to a comprehensive knowledge base.
- Nice to have: Good understanding of Malaysia's e-invoicing processes, SDK, and guidelines.
- Nice to have: Basic understanding on SFTP and familiar with file manager such as WinSCP / FileZilla.
- Nice to have: At least 2 - 4 years of experience in C# development, proficient in application support, development, debugging and enhancing C# applications.
- Nice to have: Experience with data mapping tools such as AltovaMapForce.
- Nice to have: Ability to maintain focus and productivity while meeting service-level agreements (SLAs) and handling high-pressure support situations.
