Job Description:
We are looking for intern candidates for Simics Power Management Simulation and Modeling team. The candidate will work on developing the Simics Power Management modeling, related testing and Simics platform integration. This Simics Power Management model aims to run Power Management firmware in simulation environment and verify firmware functionality and Power Management algorithms. Working together with other Simics IP models, Simics can check system boot/reset flow, firmware code coverage, etc.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - MS or BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering related. - Highly self-motivated, quick learning, and strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Experience of programming in C/C++ and Python. - Good GIT and build system skills. - Good team player for collaboration. Preferred Qualifications: - Background/experience in simulation technologies such as Simics, QEMU or SystemC TLM. - Background/experience in SoC power management, kernel driver and hardware. - FPGA/SLE environment setup and simple model build. - RISCV openSBI, kernel, rootfs, application build/debug on Simics platform and Qemu environment. - Proven software engineering practices, like the ability to manage scope/requirements, schedule, dependencies, automation for quality, and robust design reuse. - Good knowledge of low level SW stacks e.g. BIOS, UEFI, uboot, operating systems adoption layers and drivers.
