As an Electrical Engineer Intern, you will design, build, and test electrical systems. You'll evaluate different approaches and methods to guide the development of next generation technology. This role offers hands-on experience in circuit design, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the chance to impact Meta products. Our internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks long.
Electrical Engineering Intern Responsibilities:
- Become familiar with hardware architecture and design
- Work on operational theory of circuits, power electronics, and/or signal integrity
- Develop test plans, execute validation, and publish findings to team
- Partner with team peers on development, validation, and/or measurement
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Experience with electrical test lab equipment (e.g. Oscilloscope, Analyzers, DMM, Power Supply, etc.)
- Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware issues at board level
- Experience with circuit design and analog fundamentals
- Experience with algorithms and signal processing
- Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
- Intent to return to degree program after completion of the internship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic experience of Machine Learning
- Detail oriented, collaborative, and communication skills
- Experience in signal integrity or high-speed communication interfaces
