About Intel Foundry Strategic Planning
Strategic Planning is responsible for factory capacity, capital equipment planning and site space for Foundry Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations. The strategic planning team's mission is to pave the way to Intel's growth through innovative capacity, capital, space plans and engineering solutions. About The Role
This position is for a Sr Strategic Capacity Industrial Engineer within the Strategic Capacity design team. This team is responsible for global Intel factories capacity, space and capital planning for the mid and long range planning. The ideal candidate would have broad industry experience in strategic planning of Advanced Packaging foundry business capacity planning and strategy.
As part of the capacity design team, this person will develop proposals for global capacity of upcoming advanced package technologies. Key skill include strategic thinking, strong analysis skills , working across multiple organizations and in a global environment.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
- Industry benchmarking and application of foundry experience to drive improvements to capacity planning methodologies
- HVM Adv packaging strategies for upcoming technology: Includes What if analysis and recommendations of capacity options to Sr management
- Developing space requirements forecast for the virtual factory
- Developing Capital spending forecast for the 5 year horizon
- Network design for product routing strategies and financial implications of the design
- Strong partnership with Technology development, factory operations and other teams to understand

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
- Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar technical discipline with 9+ years of experience in foundry/supply chain, Industrial engineering
- Or Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar technical discipline with 6+ years of experience in foundry/supply chain, Industrial engineering
- 5+ years experience in a semiconductor foundry servicing capacity modeling and operations optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting a manufacturing facility, developing, and validating models.
- 1+ year of experience with data analysis, capital planning/financial analysis, and project management.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:
$160,190.00-$226,150.00
Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
Work Model for this Role
